We offer a unique interdisciplinary program that draws on the strengths of a number of departments within the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Medicine and Engineering at Florida State University. Our program is small enough that students receive individual attention and large enough to offer a wealth of research opportunities.

Thank you so much to everyone who has come together to support our students as they continue to rebuild. One last chance to contribute as they look to the new year. (replacement computers are the final key to their academic success!).

Thank you so much for your generosity already in supporting our MOB students in this scary time. They have a particular need for transportation (scooters or bikes) because the apartment to which they have been relocated is further from campus and the buses. They also lost their computers. And cookware. Clothing (men’s size medium, waist 32 and 34) and shoes (size eight). If it is time to clear out some clutter, please consider donating to a worthy cause.

I will also drop the go fund me link here, again. https://gofund.me/5bf95991f.

Thank you so much. As many of you know, the MOB community is near and dear to the structural biology community at FSU.

Exciting day in FSU's Institute for Molecular Biophysics and our Molecular Biophysics Graduate Program at FSU. Congratulations to MOB students Liang Cheng and Yu Zhao for winning the Kasha Award for best publication(s) from an MOB student. Congratulations to Biology student Nidhi Walia for winning the Caspar Award for best publication from an IMB student. Welcome back Dr. Misha Kopylov who gave us an exciting talk about his developments in cryo-EM at NYSBC. If you are interested in earning a PhD in molecular biophysics, our MOB program is the best in the SouthEast with a focus on modern cryo-EM structural biology and computational biophysics!

Congratulations to Dr. Hong Li and her MOB students Hemant and Anuska on their new eLife publication!
