Our Chinese program had no idea the fun two week break would turn into a whole year 😢 But we are still grateful for the consistent hard work from our staff, graduate TAs, and wonderful Chinese students. Furthermore, despite all the change, we have seen a profound continued effort to keep moving forward🤩

Everyone has worked so hard and the Chinese program would like to say thank you!❤️👏🏼

If you would like in on the Friday fun, please join our Chinese Language Tables! Other than that, as always, jiāyóu 加油💪🏼 keep going!

Introducing our faculty members of the Japanese program at FSU !

Amy Culp

JPN2220-Section 1 & 2

Hi! My name is Amy Culp and I'm a first year EALC graduate student. I also am currently serving the Air Force Reserves. This semester, I'm teaching Japanese 3. I also did my undergrad here at FSU and was originally studying Chinese before starting my Japanese studies. After going to Japan for the first time, I knew I wanted to begin studying Japanese. It's been such a rewarding experience and on top of making so many great friends, I've also realized I love teaching! I hope to use this experience to become a Japanese teacher in the US, or go abroad to teach English. Outside of school, I like to exercise, draw, read manga, and meet new people!
