A very special congratulations to our 14 honors medallion recipients from the FSU Department of Computer Science!

Nearly half of the 548 Florida State University Spring 2026 graduates who earned honors medallions are from the FSU College of Arts & Sciences! 🏅

Honors medallion awardees completed the University Honors Program or Honors in the Major Program. Those who completed both programs with a 3.9 cumulative GPA or higher received the designation of Outstanding Senior Scholar.

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Xiaonan Zhang, whose recent achievements were featured in Florida State University's May 2026 Faculty and Staff Briefs!

Zhang co-authored “From Static Constraints to Dynamic Adaptation: Sample-Level Constraint Release for Offline-to-Online Reinforcement Learning,” which was accepted to the 2026 International Conference on Machine Learning in Seoul, South Korea.

She also had a second co-authored paper accepted to the 2026 conference on Connected Health: Applications, Systems and Engineering Technologies (IEEE / ACM - Association for Computing Machinery), which will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in August.
