On behalf of Erin Slaughter, Graduate Advisor of the Kuduz Review...
Email Kristy Cherry Randle for the Zoom link.

Here is an event today:
Today from 2-3pm via Zoom, the Kudzu Review will be hosting a talk and Q&A with literary agent, publicist, and essayist Cassie Mannes Murray. Cassie currently works as the publicist for indie gem Bull City Press, and as an agent for Howland Literary, where she's landed her clients book deals with both well-respected indie publishers like Soft Skull Press, and Big 5 publishers like Penguin and Atria Books (full disclosure: Cassie is my agent and was responsible for selling my short story collection to HarperCollins earlier this year, so I can personally vouch for her awesomeness!).

Anyone and everyone is invited to join this event, so if you're interested in getting an agent's perspective on what happens behind the scenes of the publishing world, looking for query tips, or want to learn how to break into PR and publicity, feel free to stop by!

Here's Cassie's website, where you can learn more about her and her work:

Writer. Literary Agent. Editor. Designer. Publicist. I’m a writer, literary agent, and publicist based out of North Carolina. I feel lucky to work in books, helping to build the career of your next favorite debut author. Say šŸ‘‹ on Twitter ā€œBooks are mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors......
