Congratulations to this week’s Member of the Week, Sadzid Pajevic! Sadzid is a senior Mechanical Engineering student graduating this May. Sadzid and his senior design team have been working diligently to design a lightweight and robust robotic explorer capable of traversing the hypothesized surfaces of the asteroid, 16 Psyche. Check out the photo of their CAD design. Come to our meeting tonight to help us recognize Sadzid!

Congratulations to our newest member of the week, Skyler Heft! Skyler is an ASME member and senior Mechanical Engineering Major graduating this May. Recently, Skyler and his senior design group have been finalizing designs and working on building their project: Structural and Thermal Management of Automotive batteries for an SAE formula hybrid car. The design uses fins for heat transfer and is made of welded aluminum for structural integrity. Check out the photo of their design! Come to our GBM tonight to help us congratulate Skyler.

Congratulations to this week's ASME Member of the Week, Joe Figari! Joe is a fourth year Mechanical Engineering major who is interested in working in the aerospace industry following his Spring 2021 graduation. Joe is being recognized for his dedication to ASME in addition to the undergrad research he is conducting under Dr. Oates. Joe plans to intern this summer with Triumph Group in his home town of Stuart, FL. Come to our General Body Meeting tonight to help us congratulate Joe and talk to him about his research!

Congratulations to this week’s ASME Member of the Week, Melanie Porter! Melanie is a junior mechanical engineering major.

In addition to her dedicated involvement with ASME, Melanie is also a part of the SDC team, which will be participating in E-Fest this spring. This past summer, Melanie held a manufacturing engineering internship with Heatcraft.

Head to our last GBM of the semester tonight at 7PM in room B135 to congratulate and enjoy a slice of pizza with Melanie!
