Essence is a senior, majoring in Marketing. Along with her involvement with MBS, Essence also serves as the financial secretary for Relay For Life, the recruitment chair for the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and is a member of the Kappa Epsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.

Her favorite quote to live by is "Be the change you want to see".
