As we wrap up fall 2016, we look back on a semester that was extremely successful for the Epsilon Sigma chapter of Kappa Sigma.
We raised over $15,000 through our Heart of a Champion blood drive, which will be split between the Megan Blakey Foundation and a fund to support one of our brother's mother who is currently battling a rare form of cancer. We also donated 142 units of blood to One Blood, and thank everyone who came out and donated. This was only the second year of Heart of a Champion but we look forward to continuing the tradition for years to come.
Additionally, we are proud to announce Epsilon Sigma Father-Son legacy initiate. Tyler White, son of Wesley White, has become the most recent son of a chapter alumni to be initiated here at Florida State. Wesley White also became the first alumni to be honored with the Barrs Floyd outstanding alumni award, as recognition for all of the support he has given the undergraduate chapter over the years.
Good luck to all of our brothers going into finals week, and safe travels to everyone this holiday season. We are looking forward to making 2017 even bigger and better then 2016 for the Epsilon Sigma chapter.
