I hope you're doing well!! This coming April the 22nd from 12-3 I am planning a "Be Kind, Unwind" event in which students are invited to relax on the Union Green before the stress of finals week. There will be free food, music, and I am hoping to invite mental health groups to join in and lend support to students.

Please let me know as soon possible if this is something you could see yourself being interested in!

Thursday, February 5th at 8:00 PM. It will be in the Kellum Hall Parlor. I ask that you arrive at 7:30 PM just so we can get everything up and running by 8:00. If you would like to bring a table to set up anything (flyers, pamphlets, food samples, whatever), feel completely free to do so. I realize that your organization may have a service or other event occurring at that time; if you are able, I encourage you to send a student or two to the program to represent your organization. Another Resident Assistant and I will be providing light snacks and refreshments for the event, so if there’s anything you would like to share with the residents, please do. There is no dress code for this event; I will be wearing pants and a t-shirt most likely, so by no means am I expecting you to come in your best business casual. Just represent your organization the best way you can—maybe you guys have t-shirts you wear together, maybe you all wear blue on Thursdays, etc.

I ask that after the presentations are finished (remember, 5 minutes maximum) you stick around for about 10-15 minutes in case any of the residents want to ask you some more questions about your organization.

We will be participating in this. We are scheduled to present about our group first thing directly at 8 pm. Come out and support if you can.
