Today’s goes to Nicole Alevizos. Nicole went to Duke Fuqua School of Business where she got her master’s in management studies. Today she works For Restaurant Brands International which owns three QSR brands: Burger King, Popeyes, and Tim Hortons. She is currently the Head of Brand marketing for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen And leads their creative efforts with a focus in strategic priorities.

“My experience at Kappa Delta was some of the best years of my life. It taught me the importance of relationships, mentorship and balancing between professional/personal priorities. In my job, we launch campaigns with very short notice (usually while traveling/meetings) so I have to find a balance of inspiring our teams with friendship while also having the common goal in mind. Similar to a chapter meeting or philanthropic efforts.”

Thank you, Nicole for being a role model to all of us. We are so proud to be a part of an organization of such empowering women. We hope that our Alumni Spotlights convey how sisterhood is forever!

The Kappa Alpha chapter of Kappa Delta condemns all acts of hate, bigotry, and racism. We challenge our members to educate themselves and others and to speak out against injustice. We encourage them to be a light and leader in their community.
Our motto is to “build confidence, inspire action.” We as Kappa Delta women know that now, more than ever, is the time to inspire action. •••

The Kappa Alpha chapter of Kappa Delta is incredibly proud to have earned the highest Panhellenic chapter GPA for the spring 2020 semester at FSU. Thank you to each sister for all of your hard work and dedication to academic success. A special thank you to our Academic Excellence chair, Camryn Koziarski, for leading us in this accomplishment. Our GPA is a reflection of how Kappa Delta is an academically focused and driven sorority. We are so proud of our brilliant girls for building confidence and inspiring action.

This month’s alumni spotlight goes out to Alli Liby-Schoonover. She currently serves as Chair of the Chapter Advisory Board of FSU Kappa Delta. Alli spends her days in the capitol as a lobbyist for corporate clients such as Disney, Microsoft and American Express. She loves to spend time with her husband and three kids, travel with her closest pledge sisters, and host dinner parties.

When asked about how Kappa Delta has influenced her life, Ali responded, “Kappa Delta changed my life; beyond just leadership opportunities, it gave me the sisterhood I always wanted. My closest friends are the women I met at 555 W. Jefferson, they were my bridesmaids and serve as Godmothers to my three children. I'm so grateful for the sisterhood that began at KD and has given me my very best friends."

The sisters at Kappa delta would like to thank Alli for all the support she’s given our chapter over the years. Her love and dedication to Kappa Delta is inspiring, influential, and motivating to all who come in contact with her. Thank you Alli for everything you have done and continue to do.

At Florida State Kappa Delta, we understand that KD is FOREVER! We are incredibly proud of the sisterhood and friendships established within the walls of our chapter. Following college, our sisters venture out into the world taking the values of our sisterhood nationwide! We are excited to highlight some of our impressive alumnae who have made us proud following their time at Florida State University. We hope they can inspire and influence everyone, just as they have our KD family!

Meet Katy Gradle, Pledge Class 2010 of Kappa Delta at FSU. Katy works as a Account Executive for Ralph Lauren Golf and Tennis and resides in New York, New York. Katy has represented Ralph Lauren for over 6 years and has managed corporate partnerships and events including the US Open, PGA Championship, and the Ryder Cup. We had the privilege of catching up with Katy recently, where she revealed Kappa Delta's lessons and influence on her career. Katy highlighted that Kappa Delta taught her how to be a team player, how to professionally network, and the importance of exceeding standards. According to Katy, Kappa Delta taught her to, "...always represent the best version of yourself in both social and professional environments. The people you surround yourself with are a reflection of your values." Katy challenges today's college students to, "Hold yourself to the highest standard when going to class, a social event, at work, and out with your friends - YOU are YOUR OWN BRAND!" Thank you, Katy for your positive example and leadership in Kappa Delta and beyond!
