Just retired after 40 years of nursing! I could have retired 6 years ago but loved my job as Nursing Supervisor of Madison Parish Health Unit. I first loved scrubbing in the OR but found a love for Community Health nursing. I have been at the same job for 39 years. I hope new nurses enjoy their career as much as I did! I’d love to hear from some of my nursing classmates!
