What an experience to be apart of the Broward College collaboration. As part of a community partnership initiative, Broward College believes in creating access opportunities for adult learners looking to pursue education to a leading career path. Visiting the new L.A. Lee YMCA/ Mizell Community Center was very inspiring to see the future for children and families having access to economic and educational opportunities.

It was definitely a pleasure to be among men of color at the McArther High School Boys in Bowties with Brains event. Sharing your past experience through the eyes of those young men felt as if my life flashed in front of me, taking me back to the past of distraction to my adversity of success. What a day for MMI!
