Calling All USF Faculty! 🏆 Applications are now open!

Innovation in online teaching doesn't have to mean a complete course redesign or groundbreaking technology. Sometimes, it's a creative assignment, a new way to engage students or a simple change that makes a big impact!

The 2027 Innovation in Online Design and Teaching (IODT) Award celebrates USF faculty who are finding meaningful ways to enhance online learning and support student success. The award recipient will receive $3,000, a commemorative plaque and recognition at the USF Faculty Honors and Awards Reception. Two finalists will also receive $1,000 each!

Another day closer to National Online Learning Day!

Great online learning doesn’t happen alone. InEd’s Digital Learning Training & Support team works alongside faculty, providing the guidance and resources they need to feel confident teaching in an online environment and create meaningful experiences for their students.

More than 3,100 USF faculty members have completed Online Instructor Certification! That’s thousands of instructors helping create stronger online learning experiences for Bulls everywhere. 🤘

Our countdown to National Online Learning Day continues!

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on InEd Studios, where creativity, technology and storytelling come together to enhance the online learning experience at USF.

The Studios team partners with InEd learning designers and faculty to transform their ideas and expertise into engaging video and multimedia content that makes complex concepts easier to understand, and helps students remember what they learn. The results are award-winning! 🏆 InEd Studios earned 6 Emmy Awards in 2025, with 11 wins and 20 nominations since 2018.🤘
