Hello everyone,

I know some of you have probably been wondering what's going on with Tribeta this year, but some of the paperwork was slightly delayed and I am only now getting everything processed.

The Orgsync portal is currently not updated for this school year, and I apologize for that, but OSLE has yet to approve the updated information. This hopefully will happen within the next few days.

One main thing I do want to share with everyone, we finally got approved for a meeting space. Currently the plan is to have bi-weekly meetings on Thursday at 7pm in JS 169. The meetings will begin October 5th.

As information and things begin to get finally get processed I will send out further emails, letting you know what's going on.

If this meeting time does not work for you, please email me at [email protected] and we can see if something needs to be adjusted. I will be sending out an email after every meeting with an overview of what occurred and any important information in case someone can't make it.

I just want to remind everyone, while the national registry is restricted to certain qualifications, these meetings are open to anyone who is interested - regardless of major or past classes. If any of you know someone who might find this interesting or isn't aware of Tribeta and does qualify, please do not hesitate to bring them along.

I'm so happy to be your new President and so excited to finally meet all of you next thursday!

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

Devon Grey

All meetings during the school year are open to any who wish to attend. If you want to become a national member however, there are some requirements. To become a member, one must have a "B" average in three biology classes (at least one upper-level). The full member national certification costs $50. For those who have not completed three biology classes but are on track to, TriBeta offers an "Associate" membership. This membership level costs $40, and when you complete all three classes, will simply cost the additional $10 to equal the full $50.

If you have any questions about membership or interest in joining, please contact me!

Hi everyone! This is the new FB page for the University of Tampa's Beta Beta Beta Sigma Nu Chapter. This is Devon Grey and I just wanted to introduce myself as the new president. I am a Biochemistry major with a minor in Psychology. I have a big interest in Neuroscience and the field of Forensic Science/Criminology. For those who aren't aware of what Tribeta is, we are a national collegiate honor society and academic fraternity for undergraduate biology students. Tribeta provides an opportunity to connect with fellow science majors, network within the community, volunteer with local organizations, and promote interest in biology and research. If you are a current member, or want to learn more, please feel free to use the contact information provided on this page and I'll respond as soon as possible. Thank you and have an amazing rest of the year!
