The Florida Center for Behavioral Health Workforce Emergency Fund provides awards of up to $1,500 for students enrolled in clinical graduate behavioral health programs. Funding may assist with emergency expenses such as housing, utilities, food insecurity, medical expenses, childcare or essential vehicle repairs.

On Friday, during the USF College of Behavioral & Community Sciences Faculty and Staff Spring Assembly two of our faculty members were recognized for their extraordinary work.

⭐️𝐃𝐫. 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐧-𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡 was awarded the Outstanding Faculty Graduate Mentor Award.
▪️The award recognizes faculty who demonstrate the highest level of quality in the mentoring of graduate students in teaching, research, and service.

⭐️𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐌. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐬 was award the Outstanding Faculty Service Award.
▪️This award is given to tenured or non-tenured faculty of any rank who demonstrated at least three years of outstanding service to the department, college, university, profession or local community within the past year.
