Zeta Upsilon would like to congratulate Soror Aria Walker on graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health! During her time at USF, Soror Aria served as Secretary for the Undergraduate Public Health Student Association (UPHSA), Advocacy Lead for Partners in Health Engage at USF, served on the Student Advisory Board for the College of Public Health, was a student leader for Global Citizens Project, and held the position of Council Representative for Juniper-Poplar Hall. During the Summer of 2020, she served as a research assistant working with the College of Medicine here at USF.
As an HHMI Stem Academy Scholar and a recipient of the Global Citizens Project Scholarship, Soror Aria has shown dedication to the intersection of service and scholarship. Within Zeta Upsilon, she has proudly served as the Assistant Secretary and as Vice President. Currently Soror Aria dedicates her time as an intern for March of Dimes and will be pursing her education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center to obtain her masters in Maternal and Child Healthcare! Congratulations Soror Aria, we are incredibly proud of your achievements! 💕💚👩🏾‍🎓

Zeta Upsilon would like to congratulate our very own Soror Alexis Roberson on graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a confrontation in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science.

During her time here at USF, Soror Alexis passionately served the Tampa Bay and USF community as the Zeta Upsilon President (2019-2020), Assistant Director of Diversity & Wellness (1st Consolidated Term), Internal Vice President for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Vice President of Professional Development in the Xi Omega Chapter Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, AKA Leadership Fellow (42nd Cohort), National Pan-Hellenic Council President (2020-2021), and an USF Ambassador.

As the Tampa Governor for the 2nd Consolidated Term in Student Government, Soror Alexis was able to make impactful change at our University to ensure that future students receive the tools and support they need to be successful.

Soror Alexis will be attending Florida State University on a full ride to obtain her Master’s Degree in Public Administration in the Fall 2022 semester. Her overall aspiration is to advocate for human and civil rights through the perspective of public policy.

Congratulations to Zeta Upsilon’s very own Soror Rolynn Wilson, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Mass Communications with a focus in broadcast news. She also received her minor in Sociology and Communications. During her time here at USF, she involved herself in a number of organizations outside of Zeta Upsilon including The Black Leadership Network, USF Ambassadors, The National Council of Negro Women where she served as Public Relations Chair and she also served on the 61st first consolidated term of Student Government as the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications. However, her service to Zeta Upsilon has not gone unnoticed, she has served as our Public Relations and Communications Officer as well as our 2020-2021 President. Her leadership within Greek-life has also been recognized as she served as the Vice President of Internal Affairs for NPHC here at USF. She has always been passionate about journalism and pursued internship and job opportunities for News in 90, Fox 13, USF athletics, The Tampa Bay Arts and Education Network, ABC Action News and The TODAY Show with NBC. Upon graduation, she will be pursuing a career as a reporter at WRIC 8 News in Richmond Virginia. Congratulations again, on all of your accomplishments and we wish you the best in your future endeavors. 💕💚👩🏾‍🎓

The Quality Zeta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated would like to congratulate Soror Yovela Debesay for graduating with concurrent degrees in Economics and International Studies with a minor in Public Service and Leadership.
While at USF, she served as the Director of University Affairs and Senate Vice Chair of Relations, served on the executive board for African Students Association, Student Alumni Association, United Nations Association, Dean Student Leadership Society, Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Frarernity Inc., and the Coalition of Black Organizational Leaders. During her tenure, Soror Yovela was also inducted into the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economics Honor Society and Order of the Golden Brahman and served as Ms. Africa 2019-22.
In the fall, she will be starting her Masters Program in International Development in hopes of preparing for a career in Foriegn Affairs. Congratulations Soror Yovela on your QUALITY achievements! 💚💕 👩🏾‍🎓

Zeta Upsilon would like to congratulate our very own Soror Alexis Agarrat, on graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education with a concentration in Middle Grades Math 5-9. During her time here at USF, Soror Alexis has served in many capacities through USF College of Education, Zeta Upsilon’s Vice President from 2020-2021, and making an impact on her math academy students at Stewart Magnet Middle during her final year. Soror Alexis has been a recipient of the Florida Fund Minority Teacher Scholarship, Claudia Silas Scholarship offered by our graduate chapter Gamma Theta Omega, Michael Brewer Scholarship, Donavon & Betty Lichtenberg End Scholarship and countless others. Soror Alexis has completed her certification exams and is now a certified teacher in the state of Florida. Ultimately, she plans on returning back to school in the near future to obtain a master’s degree in Educational Leadership to become a school principal. Congratulations Soror Alexis on your QUALITY achievement! 💚💕 👩🏾‍🎓

I had to make some edits but I’m waiting on final approval from Dorsity : Join the Quality Zeta Upsilon Chapter, as we continue to honor Global Impact Day💗💚On Friday April 15th come find us located at Cooper Hall from 11am - 2pm as we collect Soles for Souls in need. We hope to ZU there!
