USF Medicine International provides support to the Morsani College of Medicine faculty and students in global research, scholarship and service activities. We create opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and resources in the field of medicine by developing ongoing collaborations with medical facilities and universities throughout the world.

👉 “It was my first US clinical experience and it was instrumental in my understanding of the healthcare system here and will help me be better prepared for the future. I had the opportunity to learn a lot about the inpatient internal medicine wards teams and how they function here. Big things are happening in the Dominican Republic! USF has officially launched a new international academic initiative in partnership with Dominican universities, supported by a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo 🇩🇴🤝🇺🇸
 
🩺 Drs. Dinorah Martinez-Tyson and Molly Hamm-Rodriguez led the charge, building on years of collaboration and shared commitment to global engagement. The launch brought together 70+ attendees from 25+ Dominican institutions, sparking bold conversations on research, mobility, and international learning.
