In every profession, there are individuals who stand out above the rest, who are driven to improve their field, create change, and press forward into the unknown for the
greater good. We call them trailblazers, and they call USF College of Nursing home. The USF College of Nursing began in 1973 by enrolling its charter class into the Bachelor’s Program. The College has grown steadily with the profe

ssion, adding a Master’s Program in 1980, a PhD Program in 1997, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program in 2005. The College of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education for the BS, MS and DNP degree programs. In addition, the Nurse Anesthesia masters concentration is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs.

Investing in the future of nursing, one student at a time. 💚

At the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital LINE Scholar Luncheon, USF Health College of Nursing students sat down with representatives from Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital to share their stories, including how LINE funding has lightened financial burdens and kept them focused on what matters most: becoming excellent nurses.

Thank you, Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, for believing in our students and helping shape the caregivers our communities will rely on for years to come.🩺
