Inspiring future nurses starts with helping young people see what’s possible.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay celebrated the launch of its Liberty Workforce Innovation Center, creating opportunities for youth to explore careers in health care and other high-demand fields.

The USF College of Nursing and Tampa General Hospital are empowering frontline nurses to advance nursing science through the TGH–USF Nursing Research Fellowship. Through mentorship and hands-on research experience, fellows will develop the skills to investigate challenges they encounter in practice and contribute evidence that can improve patient outcomes.

Congratulations to Victoria Marshall, PhD, RN, of the USF College of Nursing, on her election to the Friends of the National Institute of Nursing Research (FNINR) Board of Directors! 💚🤘

Her two-year term begins in January 2027, continuing the college’s representation on the national board following Dean Usha Menon’s service.

A nurse scientist with experience in oncology nursing and research advocacy, Dr. Marshall will help champion federal funding for nursing science and support nurse leaders in educating policymakers about the value of nursing research.
