• Induction Ceremony
○ Booked Curt Larsen as our second speaker
○ Send an e-Vite about two weeks before the ceremony
• PTK Food Run
○ Friday, March 30, 2018 @ 12:00pm
○ Going to a couple of a stores to purchase fresh produce and meats for the Bruin Food Pantry
• Ronald McDonald House
○ Friday, April 20th @ 10:30 am
○ Must RSVP on OrgSync
○ Serving lunch
• Community Garden
○ Visited our lot in the garden
○ We are lot number 22
○ We need a dedicated person to take care of garden, we are thinking of making it an official position
• PTK Member Outing
○ Planning a fun outing to unwind and to bond with other members
○ Will update as soon as we have something more concrete
• No Meeting Next Week
○ Enjoy your Spring Break!!!

Hi members, here's the notes from today's meeting.

• Humane Society
○ Service not available
○ Referred to corporate for service opportunities
• Scholarship PTK / U of U
○ Talked to Peggy Hoffman about how to start scholarships
○ She said to talk to PTK headquarters and to email the heads of scholarship in appropriate schools to get the ball running.
• Service opportunities
○ Looking for more community service opportunities, if anyone has any causes they would like to help
○ There are a lot of service opportunities in the food pantry if any members would like to sign up for
○ Planning a shopping trip to buy food for the pantry on Friday, March 30th at noon.
• PTK fun event
We focus a lot on service, this time we are planning a fun event for all members. We'll talk about it in the next few meetings. Thinking of doing an escape room or bowling. More ideas welcome.

Open house was a hit. A huge thank you to those of you who made it. We have our weekly meeting this Friday at 2:00 pm in the STC Building at the Redwood Campus come join us if you can. We will be discussing shirts and service opportunities, as well as the Induction Ceremony and Conference. Please let us know if you have any service ideas you would like to volunteer for with the club. Hope to see you at the next meeting.

Hello members, here's a recap of last week's meeting (02-17-2018). Next Friday is open house. It's in the Senate chambers in the Student Center Building at the Redwood campus at 2:00 pm. Hope to see you there.

• Planning the induction ceremony
○ It will be held in the Oak room on Friday, April 27th at 6:30 pm
○ Get speakers entertainment
○ Look into catering
• Working on getting PTK/U of U scholarship
○ Meeting with Peggy, after our next week's meeting to establish contacts at the U
• Redefining Officer positions
○ Set-up a committee to redefine officer positions Saturday March 3, 2018 in the Library at the Taylorsville campus
• Officer elections
○ Officer elections will be held on May 4, 1018
• Services
○ Working to set-up services with Ronald McDonald House and the Humane Society.
○ If anyone has any services they would like to do, let us know.
• Open house
○ Next week's meeting is our open house
○ 2:pm in the Senate Chambers in the S.T.C. Building at the Redwood Campus.
○ It is a great way to meet the new members of Phi Theta Kappa
○ Meet and greet with food provided
