Director Fines and her Administrative Assistant, Jamie, attended the Member Appreciation Breakfast with The Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce this morning! While there, Director Fines sat with LLCC alum and new Sales Manager of a local business in Taylorville, Ron's Produce, Corey Wemple!

Instructor Spotlight, Kelly Clark! LLCC Taylorville appreciates you teaching our students!

1. What class do you teach? CNA
2. One thing you want your students to know about your class: We cover a lot of material, but we have fun in the process.
3. Favorite food? Spaghetti with garlic bread
4. Hidden talent? Not really a talent, but I was once a DJ at a country western bar
5. Favorite thing about teaching at LLCC Taylorville? The smaller class sizes and being able to connect 1 on 1 with students
6. Favorite things about being an instructor? Hearing from former students and them telling me how my teaching and this class has changed their lives. Watching the students grow and develop their skills as a CNA.

Where in the community is Director Fines? Grain & Protein with some Workforce friends from main campus! It was a pleasant surprise when one of Director Fines past College Now public speaking students was helping to guide the tour!

Director of LLCC's Continuing Education & Business Solutions, Diana H**b Bivona, recently presented "Bridging Generations in the Workplace" to community members at LLCC-Taylorville.

The session explored how different generations may bring different assumptions about communication, feedback, urgency, professionalism, and boundaries to the workplace.
