The Brothers of Nu Beta Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Bergen County Ques salute Brother Dr. Jeremiah Wright on this day for Black History Month.

Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Alvesta Wright Jr. is "Pastor Emeritus" of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois. Rev. Wright retired in 2008 after 36 years as senior pastor and while having no daily responsibilities he still has much influence within the church. Rev. Wright was highly scrutinized for comments he made during the 2008 presidential campaign of candidate Barack Obama. Although able to back up all of his controversial statements with facts, Rev. Wright has still been vilified by the media and those with opposing points of view. Rev. Wright has a Bachelors's and Masters's Degree in English a Masters's of Theology and a Doctorate of Divinity. Rev. Wright is also a veteran of both the United States Marine Corp. and the United States Navy.

Dr. Jeremiah Alvesta Wright Jr. is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. initiated through Zeta Chapter at Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA.

Brother Wright was the 2019 Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Lifetime Achievement Awardee
