Olympic spirit was on full display at W. P. Carey this week as we officially celebrated the launch of the Center for Olympic Studies, anchored in the W. P. Carey Department of Marketing – Arizona State University.

As one of only three officially designated International Olympic Committee Olympic Studies Centres in the U.S., the center will expand interdisciplinary education, research, and understanding of the Olympic Movement’s global impact.

Olympians, ASU leadership, faculty, staff, and students from across ASU came together to celebrate this exciting milestone and the opportunities ahead.

With the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games on the horizon, the Center for Olympic Studies will bring together ASU’s expertise, Olympic legacy, and commitment to innovation, creating new opportunities for students and researchers to contribute to the future of global sport.

We’re excited to see how the center strengthens connections across ASU and expands W. P. Carey’s impact in the world of sports.
