Kappa Beta Gamma is elated to say that we are teaming with Yim Creations for a fundraiser!! Yim Creations is a small business that supports other small businesses and artists in the Alabama region. This fundraiser will be available from February 15th to March 15th. 🤍*Here is how it works.* When you order, just input the code “KBG” at checkout, and you will be helping to give back to the The Alpha Sigma Chapter of Kappa Beta Gamma. ( THE CODE IS NECESSARY FOR PURCHASE TO GO TO KBG) To put your order to a specific member, just add that specific members name in the additional notes section of checkout. Or, contact any of our sisters to purchase using our catalogs!! We want to say thank you to Yim Creations for partnering with us for this fundraiser. TWU students, don't forget we are hosting our Documentary & Discussion event tomorrow afternoon to raise awareness on food insecurity in America during Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week! It will be in the Colloms Center, room 113, at 4:30pm.
We will have some community partner agencies there as well who can speak first hand to how McMinn Co. is working to combat poverty!

As a fun incentive, LTNP has put together TWO gift baskets with goodies, an LTNP shirt, and a $10 Walmart gift card!
In order to win, you must attend our 45 minute documentary and stay for the discussion that follows. We will have a drawing for the baskets as our event comes to a close.

Hope to see you there! Bring a friend!

All proceeds benefit students in local special education classrooms this Christmas. In our county, most students with disabilities live below the poverty line. Help us make a difference for some spooktacular kids 👻
If you aren’t on campus but would like to purchase a candygram or just donate to the cause, message Liv Kuykendall!

Our alum are doing great things! So thankful for what you do for this community, Taylor Williams!

Now that Taylor’s time as the Off-Site Operations Coordinator is complete, we’d like to do a recap of her VISTA term! We hope this overview gives insight to the impact the LTNP’s mobile food pantry program has on our community.

During her year as a VISTA, Taylor coordinated 277 volunteers for a total of 1,385 hours- the equivalent of $31,951.95 of labor for the community.
These volunteers worked to distribute over 88,000 pounds of food to 1,429 local families. That’s over 73,500 meals for families in need!

The work LTNP does couldn’t be accomplished without the hard work and dedication of our AmeriCorps VISTA members and our community volunteers. If you’d like to get involved with our program and the work we do, send us a message!

We wish Taylor the best as she enters her second term of service as our project’s AmeriCorps VISTA Leader!
