We’re proud to celebrate Joe Evelo ’72, Rachel Leslie ’06, and Steve Zink ’74 as Indiana State University’s 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award honorees!

We look forward to welcoming these outstanding Sycamores back to campus this fall and celebrating all they have accomplished.

We’re proud to recognize three outstanding Indiana State University alumni as the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award honorees: Joe Evelo ’72, Rachel Leslie ’06 and Steve Zink ’74.

Each has built an impressive career while making meaningful contributions to their communities and their professions. This fall, we’ll have the opportunity to celebrate Joe, Rachel and Steve on campus as they are honored at the sixth annual President’s Dinner and serve as Grand Marshals of the Blue and White Homecoming Parade.

We had a great time at the President’s Society Tailgate on Saturday, August 29, before the first Sycamore Football game of the season! 🏈💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for refreshments, conversation, and a fun start to the season. A special thank you to the Indiana State University Federal Credit Union for sponsoring the event and helping make the afternoon such a success!
