Happy Pi Day! In celebration of 3.14.....and all of its splendor, Dr. Dave Voltmer, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, will present on the history of Pi.

Dr. Voltmer received his undergraduate degree from University of Southern California in 1963 followed by a PhD in Electromagnetics from Ohio State University in 1970 . He specializes in electromagnetics, satellite communications, microwaves, antenna theory, and computer-based instrumentation. Dr. Voltmer's research activities include microwave metrology, computational electromagnetics, computer-assisted instruction, and measurement of computer-generated radio frequency interference.
