New Sycamore Orientation is off to a great start! 🌟

We welcomed our first groups of future Sycamores to campus this week as Honors students and student-athletes took part in New Sycamore Orientation. From making new connections to exploring campus and registering for classes, they got an early look at what awaits them this fall.

General orientation sessions begin Friday, and we can't wait to welcome even more future Sycamores throughout the summer.

Looking for a meaningful summer opportunity for your student? 🔧🤖

The Bailey College of Engineering and Technology Summer Camp at Indiana State University gives high school students the opportunity to explore engineering and technology through hands-on activities, guest speakers, and experiences designed to introduce them to potential career pathways.

Participants will work with Indiana State University faculty and students, enjoy lunch on campus, and gain exposure to areas such as robotics and electric circuits in a fun and engaging learning environment.

The camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with an optional extended stay until 5 p.m. Registration is $40, and space is limited.

Indiana State University recently celebrated 10 years of partnership with the Irish Heritage School in Birr, Ireland! 🇮🇪🌳

Over the past decade, more than 150 Sycamores have participated in service-learning experiences through the program, building meaningful connections through education, culture, and community engagement.

The anniversary celebration featured a student-led photo exhibit and documentary highlighting the impact this partnership has had on students and the Birr community over the years.

We’re grateful for a partnership that continues to create opportunities for learning, service, and global connection.

Two Indiana State University education leaders have been selected for a professional development program through the Harvard Graduate School of Education focused on strengthening strategic leadership in early childhood education.
