Free Magician coming to University Hall!
The Indiana State University Chapter of the Indiana Student Educators Association (ISEA) is honored to host a FREE magic show on Wednesday, March 19 at 7:00 in the University Hall Theatre.
The magician, Jason Brewer, is a 2003 alumnus of ISU, a stage magician, and a third grade teacher in the South Vermillion School Corporation. Jason will entertain the crowd with illusions and humor. He will also teach attendees a trick or two that might be used for classroom management or motivation.
This is a magic show you won’t want to miss! He started preforming as a magician at the age of 5 after seeing David Copperfield on television. He performed at talent shows, family events, and birthday parties. As a teen, he performed The Mysteries of Jason at the South Vermillion High School and was the first person to ever nearly sell out the auditorium! Now, as a third grade teacher, he performs magic for his students as a behavior management strategy, as rewards, and to tie in to lessons when it helps students make connections. He performs for school convocations with an anti-bullying program when his schedule allows it. On March 19, at 7:00 p.m. in the University Hall Theatre, he will treat the ISU community to an entertaining evening of magic and FUN!!!
