The Indiana Eta chapter is deeply saddened by the loss of our fellow brother, Grant Noble Smith ‘03.
In the days since his passing, the Brothers of Indiana Eta have come together to share countless individual stories of Grant’s generosity, compassion, and loyalty toward his family, brothers, and friends. Through these stories, it has become undeniably clear that Grant lived with integrity and left a lasting impact on each of our lives.
Grant embodied the values of our brotherhood not only in words but in action. He was a leader among us, serving as Social Chair, Pledge Educator, and Sergeant-at-Arms. His commitment extended beyond our chapter, as he dedicated two years to the IFC Council and proudly represented Indiana State University as a Sycamore Ambassador. His passion for mentorship was evident in the way he guided his little brothers and served as a mentor to many. His academic dedication was equally impressive, earning a master’s degree in Human Resource Development.
Grant was more than a brother—he was a loyal friend, a selfless leader, and a man who embodied the highest ideals of Phi Kappa Psi. We miss him dearly, but his legacy of generosity, compassion, and unwavering integrity will live on in all of us.
Honorable Brother, you will never be forgotten.
