This week we hosted 1st graders from Jackson Township Elementary and 3rd graders from North Vermillion Elementary. We were so busy having fun that we didn’t even get a photo of our Jackson Township friends, but were happy to share occupational therapy with all of these kiddos! Thanks for stopping by!

Last but certainly not least 👏

Dr. Bakshi and her student research group helped close out the AOTA Inspire National Conference with their poster: Contextual Factors Affecting Recovery After Distal Radius Fractures 💡

Their work highlights how environment, support systems, and real-life contexts play a critical role in recovery—reminding us that healing goes far beyond the injury itself 🖐️💙

A strong finish to an inspiring conference! So proud of our students and faculty for representing OT with excellence and impact 🙌

🌸 Happy Administrative Professionals Week! 🌸

This week, we are celebrating the heart behind our program—our incredible administrative professionals: Kathryn Warfel, Julie Dininger, and Christy Keene 💛

Your dedication, organization, and constant support keep everything running smoothly and help our program truly shine. From the big moments to the smallest details, you make it all happen—and we are so grateful.

Without you, we would be lost!

✨ Thank you for all that you do, today and every day. ✨

Day 2 is off to a strong start 💥

Professor Meghan Steward and her student research group are kicking things off at the AOTA Inspire National Conference with their poster: Ready or Not: OT Students’ Views on Preparedness for Leading Community-Based Fieldwork Groups 👏

Exploring student perspectives on confidence, readiness, and real-world leadership in community settings—this is the kind of insight shaping the future of OT education and practice 💡

Proud of this team for leading the conversation and representing OT with purpose 🙌

Celebrating more than just a successful first day at AOTA Inspire National Conference 🎉

Tonight, our OT students and faculty gathered around the table to reflect, connect, and celebrate a day full of presentations, innovation, and impact. From sharing research to representing the future of occupational therapy, this group continues to show what it means to support meaningful participation—both in practice and in community.

Because in OT, we know that connection, belonging, and shared experiences are just as important as the work we do. 💙

Here’s to day one, big accomplishments, and even bigger moments ahead!
