Indiana State University Graduate Nursing Programs At ISU, we are creating an atmosphere of nursing education, research, and practice. The Graduate Nursing Program at ISU admitted its first students in 1986.

It has maintained continuous accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, INC. (ACEN) since 1989. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program began admitting students in Fall 2010 and gained accreditation from the ACEN in March 2013. We offer graduate programs in the following concentrations:
Family Nurse Practitioner
Post Master's Family Nurse Practitioner
BSN-DNP (coming soon)
Post Master's Doctor of Nursing Practice

PUBLIC NOTICE OF UPCOMING ACCREDITATION REVIEW VISIT BY THE ACEN

The Indiana State University School of Nursing wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its graduate nursing programs (MSN, Post-masters FNP and PMHNP certificates, DNP and BS-DNP) by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
The general public is invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 3:30pm to 4pm on Wednesday, February 25, in room C-13 of the College of Health and Human Services building located at 401 N. 4th Street, Tere Haute, IN 47809.
Written comments are also welcome and should be submitted to the ACEN via email at [email protected] or to the ACEN office:

Hello everyone,

Our first of two tenure-track faculty positions is open for applicants. Please help us spread the word.
Note—this posting is the one that is for a 10-month appointment, FNP required, will teach in undergraduate on-campus/in-person (so needs to be able to come to campus very regularly) and also be able to teach in MSN/FNP if/when needed. So, this one is not appropriate for remote applicants.
