Join us this Thursday, March 7th from 12:15pm-1pm in Moss Library for the Humanities Texas Women’s History Month lecture sponsored by the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and the Department of History & Political Science at TAMUT! Dr. Amy Friesenhahn, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Centenary College of Louisiana, will present a lecture titled “Representation in Congress” in combination with the ongoing HTX “Changing the Face of Power: Women in the U.S. Senate” traveling exhibition on display at Moss Library.

Refreshments will be served; please share this event widely.

This program is supported by Humanities Texas, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Texas A&M University-Texarkana is hosting an exhibition of photographs featuring women in the U.S. Senate. The exhibition, titled “Changing the Face of Power: Women in the U.S. Senate” originally opened in the Smithsonian Institution in 2003.
