Texarkana College has reached its highest enrollment in school history, with 5,100 students enrolled for the fall semester as of Friday.

That tops the college's previous record of 5,054 students set in 2009.

The current figure may not be the final fall enrollment number as the college is still enrolling students for second eight-week courses, which begin Oct. 12.
