Texas A&M Texarkana - John F. Moss Library The John F. The library is a spacious, modern facility, with large windows overlooking the campus and lake.

Moss Library, named in honor of the University's founding president, is located on the south side of the third and fourth floors of the University Center. It has been designed to provide students, faculty and visitors with a variety of common spaces to appeal to individual preferences and needs - casual seating, comfortable lounge areas, study nooks, group and individual study tables as well as gr

In honor of Memorial Day, John F. Moss Library will close at noon on Friday, May 22nd, and remain closed through Monday, May 25th. As we pause to remember and pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed, we encourage you to stop by this week to pick up some good books for the weekend. Wishing everyone a meaningful and restful holiday—we will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th, at 8:00 a.m.

That’s a wrap on National Library Week at John F. Moss Library! This year’s theme, “Find Your Joy,” brought out the creative side in everyone. Our students dove into button making, designed their own zines and bookends, and unwound with some joyful coloring—and enjoyed classic milk and cookies. The commons area was buzzing with laughter, art, and a sense of community. We loved seeing so many students and staff relaxing, connecting, and finding their own kind of joy in the library. Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the week so memorable. We hope you discovered a little more joy—and maybe a new favorite library activity. Until next year!

Looking for a little inspiration this spring? Head over to the John F. Moss Library (3rd Floor) at Texas A&M University-Texarkana for “Inspired by the Bringle Lake Wilderness Trail: an Exhibition” by local artist Lauren Hehmeyer! 🎨The show runs from April 15th to May 15th and features a unique print scavenger hunt for visitors to enjoy. Whether you’re a fan of art, nature, or just looking for something new to do on campus, this exhibition is worth a stop.
