Meet Cadet 2/C Julian David.
Julian is committed to personal development and self-discipline in all areas, mentally, emotionally, and academically. Transitioning from a home-school environment to a hands-on curriculum, Julian understood that his college experience needed to include a curriculum that challenged him like never before.
"When I arrived at Maritime, I thought I had a grasp on engineering. But I quickly discovered that my learning curve was just beginning. Diving into new skills, especially in electronics, opened up an entirely new world for me. During Summer Sea Term, I learned how to solder, which really boosted my confidence and helped me see what this journey is truly about. Everything I absorbed in the classroom came to life, showing me how much more there is to explore in this field."

"Embrace a more intersectional approach and take the time to discover your strengths. Avoid rushing into decisions. Stay connected to your passions and stay committed to who you are - everything will align in the right way."
