That's a Wrap!

President Tim Cook of Clackamas Community College crossed the finish line of his 1,500-mile journey at Columbia Gorge Community College in Hood River—surrounded by family, friends, and community supporters. Over the past 53 days, he ran across the state of Oregon, visiting all 17 of Oregon’s community colleges to raise awareness and support for student basic needs.

We were honored to host a lively finish celebration, complete with a DJ playing Tim’s daily “song of the day” picks, phenomenal bagels, inspiring speeches, and even a celebratory plunge into the Columbia River.

It was a privilege to be the final stop on this remarkable journey. Congratulations, Tim—and thank you for your dedication to Oregon’s community college students!
