A special message from MC ‘24, Mallory Pellegrin and Amelia Bouvier about their time studying abroad in Germany!
“I am so grateful for my opportunity to travel to Germany with the Nicholls Honors Program! It was the best experience to learn about German culture and folklore. It was so eye opening to me as I’ve never traveled overseas before. We learned everything from the history of the towns we visited to witch trials and fairytales. I also met so many new people and made great friends who traveled with us! The Honors Program planned the perfect trip, I couldn’t have asked for a better time!“

“My study abroad experience in Germany was both educational and rewarding. We were able to see historic sites and walk through so many old towns all while learning so much about German history. While doing all of this, I also got close with the people that I went on the trip with that I didn’t necessarily know before the trip. When I decided to go on this trip, I was very hesitant, but I knew that in college i wanted to travel as much as i could. Being able to go on this trip allowed me to grow independently and be more adaptable. Looking back now, I would have regretted not going on this trip. I made memories that will last a lifetime.“
