Kappa Sigma-Nicholls State

The Omicron Chi Chapter of Kappa Sigma at Nicholls State was chartered on April 28, 2007. Our chapter, Omicron Chi, was started on April 28, 2007.

We're currently the largest fraternity on campus and a top 5 chapter nationally for Kappa Sigma receiving the fraternity's top awards. Since then we have become the dominant fraternity on the Nicholls State University Campus in Thibodaux Louisiana. Omicron Chi Chapter participates and hosts various community service events, charitable fund raisers, and exciting social events year round.

Kappa Sigma was honored to support our local heroes at the 308 Volunteer Fire Department. On Sunday, we had the opportunity to serve chicken plate lunches to help raise funds for their department. We thank them for their continued service to the community and are grateful for the opportunity to support and stand behind the men and women who serve.

The Omicron Chi Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity is partnering with the Navy SEAL Foundation this October, featuring a parachute jump onto John L. Guidry Stadium. The day is finally here. it’s Kappa Sigma’s 2025 give N day and we’re excited! Any and all donations provided will be appreciated. The money raised will go towards the betterment of the chapter as a fundraising.

We had the honor of helping serve chicken plates for the Lafourche Crossing 308 fire department this morning. We were able to help them raise 18 thousand dollars in profits. They will use theas funds to better their department abilities and protection to our community.
