Located on banks of Bayou Lafourche in Thibodaux, Louisiana Gulf Coast, the Department of Art at Nicholls State University, is home to 179 majors students from various states, foreign countries and the bayou region. ate University, as well as art teachers, guidance counselors and others are encouraged to visit the campus for a personal tour hosted by one of our faculty, students or staff. It's impossible to appreciate all the ways our Department of Art inspires creativity just by reading about it. You will most certainly need to experience it for yourself. Have lunch with some students and faculty. Sit in on one of our classes or simply stop by to check out our studios. We welcome potential students and their parents to come in and observe a class or two.
