🚍 Brother PM Oscar Jackson, 33° – Congratulations on being named the Bus Driver of the Year for the Thomasville City Schools Transportation Department in 2026! Your commitment to safety, love for the kids in this community, and dedication to your job are all qualities that cannot be overlooked. We thank you for representing not only the transportation department but also the Masonic family with pride!

🍎 Also congratulations to Ms. Briana Howell, our Adopt-A-Teacher of the school term, on winning Teacher of the Year at McIntyre Park Middle School! Your dedication to educating and improving the lives of our students has been truly admirable. We could not be happier for you as you receive this recognition.

Congratulations are extended to our 2026 scholarship award winner Mr. Addam Barnes of Thomasville High School. ✨🎓

Addam is an example of what excellence, leadership, faith, and perseverance means. With a GPA of 3.3, he has been able to excel academically despite being an athlete, playing basketball, football, and track N field. This has not stopped him from engaging himself in the activities of his community and getting ready for the future.

He will soon be joining Brewton-Parker Christian University to pursue a degree in Information Technology (IT), hoping that his future career will involve Cyber Security. His passion and perseverance in the classrooms, athletics, and community activities make him well-deserving of this award.

Mr. Barnes was introduced and received the honor of receiving his award from our Worshipful Master, Bro. Dr. Christian Pittman, who continues with the same vision of empowering the next generation of leaders in our community.

Keep pushing for excellence, put God before anything else, and chase your dreams no matter what happens. The future holds much promise for you, and we await with bated breaths the things you will achieve.

This morning, Joppa Lodge No. 43 PHA F&AM had the honor of attending the MCPS Annual Donor Recognition Celebration at Mitchell County Primary School, where our Masonic Family was recognized for the love, support, and service shown throughout the entire school year. Seeing our organizations receive Community Partner Appreciation Certificates was a reminder that true Masonry is more than meetings and titles… it’s about showing up for the people and communities we serve.

Throughout this school term, we came together to support these students in ways that truly mattered — through encouragement, partnerships, volunteering, donations, and simply being present. That’s what community is all about even when we cross into different counties.

It has been amazing working alongside each and every one of you this year. When Masons, Eastern Stars, The Order of the Golden Circle, local businesses, and community leaders unite with one purpose, lives are impacted for the better. The mission was never just about recognition… it was about making sure these children knew they had people rooting for them every single step of the way. ❤️🦅✨

Service is what we do — and this year, we showed exactly what unity looks like.

Last night, the brothers of Joppa Lodge No. 43, PHA F&AM came through the streets of our Rose City with purpose, pride, and a whole lot of presence! 💪🏾🔥 This year’s annual Rose Show Parade wasn’t just another appearance for us… it was a moment.

Rocking our Hands On Heroes superhero capes, we proudly represented the honor bestowed upon us for our service to this community. And let’s be clear — that cape wasn’t just for show… it symbolizes the work, the sacrifice, and the commitment we give year-round.

From waving to the crowd, connecting with families, and standing tall as a brotherhood, we reminded everyone exactly what it means when Joppa shows up — we show out every time.

The Brothers of Joppa Lodge No. 43, PHA F&AM are incredibly grateful as our Fried Fish Plate Fundraiser SOLD OUT by 12:35 PM — and that’s nothing but love from the city! 🙌🏾

This one hit different. The event was powered by our Lifetime Members, Gold Card holders, Past Masters, and retired brothers — the backbone of this lodge — showing us all how it’s done with excellence and pride. 💪🏾

A HUGE shoutout to Thomasville City Schools, our local healthcare agencies, and the local Democratic Party for showing up in DROVES and supporting. And to everyone who grabbed pre-paid plates and those who came hoping for same-day orders… we appreciate every single one of you!

Special thanks to our brothers’ wives for stepping in and helping make things run smoothly, along with the amazing Sisters of American Beauty Chapter No. 214 PHA O.E.S. for always showing love and support. And we can’t forget our community partners who came through and lent a helping hand — that’s what real community looks like! ❤️

Because of YOU, we continue to uplift, serve, and invest back into our community through scholarships and outreach. Today wasn’t just a fundraiser… it was a full display of unity, love, and impact.

This evening, Joppa Lodge No. 43, PHA F&AM has been recognized as this year’s Hands-On Heroes by Hands On Thomas County in the Group Category! 🙌🏾 We proudly received a special plaque along with a $250 contribution toward our next community service project—solid proof that the work we do is making real impact across the Rose City under the leadership of our WM Christian Pittman.

On this beautiful Sunday afternoon in the Rose City, the Southern Elite MC Biker Club, the brothers of Joppa Lodge No. 43, PHA F&AM, Nehemiah Lodge 138 PHA F&AM, the ladies of Minne L. Washington No. 34-A PHA OGC, and sisters of American Beauty Chapter No. 214 PHA O.E.S. all came together with one mission—to serve with love and uplift our community. 💛 We didn’t just gather… we gave, we loved, and we showed up. Families filled the space, children smiled, and hearts were touched as we provided free book bags, books, and food to help our youth finish the school year strong.

It was especially touching to see educators come out to support their students beyond the classroom, and we were honored to have a retired teacher from Valdosta come over and personally give out children’s books and educational materials to help enhance learning over the upcoming summer break. 📚✨

We also appreciated the presence of DCFS, standing with families and showing that support doesn’t stop at the doors of an office—it lives in the community. 🙌🏾

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our local churches and schools for spreading the word and helping make today what it was. Because of you, this day reached who it needed to reach.
