Tomorrow is the big day! Please come out to support our hardworking Writing & Communication at ABAC seniors!

"You Don't Know Jack" is an interdisciplinary, multi-modal media event being held in King Hall this week. The show includes:

- A museum gallery exhibit
- Documentary film screenings
- ADA-compliant technology and website
- Hit music of the 1940s
- Light refreshments

The event will take place Wednesday, April 29 from 5:00-7:00 PM in King Hall and is co-sponsored by ABAC's School of Social Science, Education & Arts, the Georgia Museum of Agriculture, and the ABAC Foundation.

DETAILS:

THE GALLERY EXHIBIT: We have transformed King Hall into a museum exhibit space. The exhibit itself, consisting of 21 exhibit panels, tells the story of an LAPD sergeant named Jack Dederick and his unheralded contributions to television history—i.e., the emergence of the police procedural genre of crime fiction (i.e., cop shows on TV).

THE DOCUMENTARY: A student produced film that documents the making of the exhibit in a creative way, filmed in classic film noir style and presented as a mystery to be solved by fedora wearing detectives (see attached poster). The film has a runtime of approximately 30 minutes and will be screened four times in designated King Hall classrooms.
