On this date 63 years ago, we were founded as Brevard Engineering College, a night school for the early “missilemen” of the U.S. space program. Our roots in the aerospace industry propelled us to become leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics and to grow into who we are today: Florida Institute of Technology—Florida’s STEM University.
