DID YOU KNOW…

- The ampersand used to be the last letter of the alphabet?
- It is a ligature of “e” & “t”? That’s “et” in Latin, meaning “and”?
- The word “ampersand” is a slurring of “real words” run together over time?
- The plus sign is actually an ampersand?

We ask that collectively, we extend patience with our new Dining staff. They are just settling in and trying to get established with our valued students, faculty, staff, and community patrons.

Thursday evening, we celebrated the accomplishments of our Manufacturing Assistance Center students who completed summer evening programs in ENGR 0113 (Basic Machining Principles), ENGR 0130 (CNC Operations), and ENGR 0220 (CAD Design).

Students, joined by parents, spouses, family members, and friends, gathered at Boomer’s Cafe in the J. Curtis McKinney II Student Union on the Education & Training Center at Pitt-Titusville campus to mark this important milestone.

Congratulations to all of our students on their hard work and achievement! We’re proud to celebrate your success and look forward to all you’ll accomplish next.
