Four generations of AXO sisters met yesterday for Proper Tea at Clara J's in Maumee to celebrate the holiday season and our sisterhood. The seven of us had a wonderful time sampling the many holiday themed teas and delicious savories and sweets from the menu. Clara's Js was decorated festively and even provided music.

We were all in agreement that we want to make this an annual AXO event and each of us are going to bring along another sister next year to join the event. Hope you can join us!

We will be having our own private room if 8 or more attend.

Cost is $36.00 which includes, tax, tip & tea.

Hello Sisters,

At Founder’s Day last week a few of us were talking how nice it would be to get together for a holiday tea at Clara Js in Maumee. So I called and inquired about dates, times, menu listed below. I need some feedback from you about who would be interested in attending and when. The place is booking fast so I would need some response by next Wednesday. You can contact me at [email protected] or on my page.

I need to know four things:
Do we want regular lunch or Proper Tea?
If we want regular lunch, is there more interest in a week day or Saturday? If Saturday I’m thinking December 10th.
The Proper Tea is only on Wednesdays. Either do December 7th or 14th.
What time is the last detail, would you rather eat at an earlier or later time?

We can get a package deal and a private room if we have over 8 people.

Their holiday menu will not be out until mid November but if you go to their website you can get an idea of what they serve. http://www.clarajsat219.com/

They are decorated but do not do any extra entertainment for the holiday.

Their regular lunch tea is $26.00 and is limited to 4 items. Includes tax, tip & tea.
It is served on Tuesday - Saturday 11:00 am - 3:00pm

Their Proper Tea is a 4 course meal. It is $36.00 includes tax, tip & tea.
Only served on wednesdays 11:00 am & 1:30pm.

I just read in the new "Buzz Book" about the Lavender Festival in Weston OH near Bowling Green this coming Saturday June 29th 10-4.

Anyone near Sylvania meet at Amy's home at 11:30. 5015 Harroun Rd Sylvania OH. We can then carpool to Perrysburg and anyone else can meet us at noon in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot 26555 N Dixie Hwy near Churchill' market and go from there.

There will be food, music vendors, farm tour, and everything lavender under the sun.
