Ever wondered what it’s like to have your coffee made by the university president? ☕️
Last week, students, faculty and staff got a surprise pick-me-up when President Mazachek stepped behind the counter at Dialogue Coffee for her first — and possibly last — shift as a barista. 👀
From pulling espresso shots to greeting customers and taking orders, she brought plenty of Washburn spirit to the morning rush.
Thank you to Andres, Kaley, Angela and the entire Dialogue team for giving us a behind-the-scenes look at what they do so well for our campus community. The Washburn experience is shaped by people like them, who lead with service, care and connection. 💙
