Washburn Sociology and Anthropology Club

Washburn Sociology and Anthropology Club The Sociology and Anthropology (SOAN) Club is a student organization open to all persons interested in learning more about cultures and society.

Our goal is to promote cultural education, anthropology, and sociology while creating an environment for socialization for those with mutual interests in cultures and society! Curious about humans and societies past and present?? You do not have to be an Anthropology or Sociology major or minor to join in the fun. We will schedule events throughout each semester! Museum trips, field trips, documen

tary and other movie viewings, panel discussions on social events, faculty and student presentations, engagement with local service organizations, volunteering opportunities, food events, and laid-back get-togethers. The current club faculty advisor is Dr. Laura Murphy.
