We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Yejin Lee, PhD as an assistant professor beginning this Summer 2026.
Dr. Yejin Lee is an occupational therapy researcher whose work focuses on functional cognition, participation in meaningful occupations, and emotional well-being among older adults with cognitive impairments. Her research uses digital health technologies, including smartphone-based ecological momentary assessment, wearable sensors, and artificial intelligence, to better understand real-world experiences and support meaningful participation in daily life.
Dr. Lee received her PhD in Rehabilitation and Participation Science from Washington University in St. Louis, where she also completed postdoctoral training. She has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and has presented her work nationally and internationally. Dr. Lee is passionate about integrating research, education, and clinical practice to prepare the next generation of occupational therapists. She is excited to join Towson University and contribute to student learning, mentorship, and scholarship.
