Don’t Limit God!

One of the ways we limit God is by expecting Him to move the same way He has before.

But God says His thoughts and ways are higher. That means what He has prepared for you may not look like anything you’ve experienced in the past.

If you only expect what you’ve already seen, you’ll miss what God is doing now!

God is not repeating your past—He’s exceeding it! Isaiah 43:18-19 “But forget all that—
it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. 19 For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

Reflection Questions:
Have I been expecting God to move based on past experiences?
Where might God be trying to do something new in my life?
What would it look like to raise my level of expectation?

Don’t reduce your expectations to your history. Lift your eyes. Expand your faith! God is able to do something new, something fresh, something far beyond what you’ve known!

Beyond What You Can See!

1 Corinthians 2:9 AMPC But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].

Our expectations have been shaped by past experiences, disappointments, or even small victories. But this scripture reminds us that God is not limited by our understanding. Praise the Lord!

What He has prepared for you goes far beyond your imagination.

You may not see it yet.
You may not hear the answer yet.
You may not even have the capacity to fully picture what God is about to do…

But that doesn’t mean it’s not already prepared.

God isn’t scrambling to figure things out on your behalf—He has already made provision. He has already set things in motion. There are blessings, opportunities, divine connections, and breakthroughs that are ready—just waiting for the appointed time.

Your role is not to figure it all out… your role is to love Him, trust Him, and walk in obedience.

Even when you don’t understand the path…
Even when it doesn’t make sense…
Even when it feels like nothing is happening…

God is working behind the scenes in ways your natural mind cannot comprehend.

So today, lift your expectation.

Don’t limit your future to what you’ve seen before.
Don’t box God in with your past experiences.
Don’t shrink your faith to fit your current reality.

Instead, declare:
“Lord, I trust that what You have prepared for me is greater than anything I could imagine.”

Stay faithful. Stay expectant. Stay close to Him.

Because what’s coming… is better than anything you’ve ever seen!

Father, thank You that You are always working on my behalf, even when I cannot see it. Help me to trust You beyond my understanding. Lift my expectations and strengthen my faith to believe for things greater than I’ve ever imagined. I choose to walk in love, obedience, and reverence toward You. Thank You for the good things You have already prepared for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Choose Faith Over Doubt!
Putting God to the Test? - Trusting God in Every Season! - Day 7

Jeremiah 17:7 – “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord.”

You have a choice — faith or doubt

God has proven Himself faithful again and again. The question is not “Will God come through?”
The question is: “Will I trust Him?”

We don’t force God’s hand, demand signs, or walk in fear. Instead, we trust His Word, remember His faithfulness and move forward in obedience!

No matter what you’re facing:
• God is with you
• God is for you
• God will bring you through

Choose faith!

Reflection Questions:
Where has my faith grown this week?
What doubts do I need to surrender to God?
How can I actively live out my faith moving forward?

Lord, I choose faith over doubt. I trust You with my life, my future, and every situation I face. Strengthen my faith and help me walk confidently in Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Trust God Completely!
Putting God to the Test? - Trusting God in Every Season! - Day 6

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

Trust means letting go of control and leaning fully on God—even when you don’t understand.
God is faithful. He does not lie. He always fulfills His Word.

You don’t have to figure everything out—you just have to trust the One who already has.
Even when the path is unclear, God is directing your steps.

Reflection Questions:
What areas of my life am I trying to control instead of surrendering?
Do I trust God even when things don’t make sense?
What would full surrender look like for me today?

Father, I choose to trust You fully. Even when I don’t understand, I will follow You. Lead me, guide me, and strengthen my faith! In Jesus name, Amen!

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus!
Putting God to the Test? - Trusting God in Every Season! - Day 5

Matthew 14:27-36 – “When he saw the wind… he began to sink.”

But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!”
28 Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” 29 “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the strong[d] wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. 31 Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” 32 When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped. 33 Then the disciples worshiped him. “You really are the Son of God!” they exclaimed. 34 After they had crossed the lake, they landed at Gennesaret. 35 When the people recognized Jesus, the news of his arrival spread quickly throughout the whole area, and soon people were bringing all their sick to be healed. 36 They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed.

Peter walked on water—as long as his focus stayed on Jesus.

The moment he looked at the storm, fear took over.

The same is true for us:
Focus on Jesus - Faith rises
Focus on circumstances - Doubt grows

Storms don’t sink you—shifting your focus does. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

Reflection Questions:
What “storms” are currently distracting me?
Where have I shifted my focus away from Jesus?
What practical step can I take today to refocus on Him?

Lord, help me fix my eyes on You. When distractions come, pull my focus back to Your presence. You are greater than any storm! Keep me steady in faith! In Jesus name, Amen!

Trusting God Through Obedience!
Putting God to the Test? - Trusting God in Every Season! - Day 4

Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.

God invites us to trust Him through obedience—especially in giving. This is not about testing God in doubt, but trusting Him in faith.

When you honor God, He responds with provision and protection.

Reflection Questions:
Do I truly trust God as my provider?
Are there areas of my life where I struggle to obey Him fully?
What step of faith is God asking me to take?

Lord, I trust You with everything I have. Help me walk in obedience and faith, knowing You are my source. In Jesus name, Amen

Standing on the Word in Your Test!
Putting God to the Test? - Trusting God in Every Season! - Day 3

Matthew 4:7 – Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”

Jesus was tested in the wilderness—but He didn’t panic, strive, or force God’s hand. He stood on the Word.

There is a difference between:
- Testing God in doubt
- Walking in faith with His Word

Faith says: “God said it, so I stand on it.”
When you feel pressure, go to the Word. Let Scripture be your response—not emotion.
You don’t need a new sign—you need to stand on what God has already said.

Reflection Questions:
Do I turn to God’s Word first when I face challenges?
What promises from Scripture can I stand on right now?
Am I trying to force outcomes, or trusting God’s timing?

Lord, help me to respond to every situation with Your Word. Let truth be stronger than fear in my life. I choose to stand on Your promises. In Jesus mighty name, Amen!
