Today the Trenton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. attended the D9 in Trenton Day of Advocacy, sharing the 2026 Black Maternal Health Week Toolkit with the community. Many D9 brothers took photos with the sign in support of Black maternal health.

On April 6, 1949, the Trenton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was officially chartered in Trenton, NJ—born from the vision of eight determined Brothers: Calvin Anderson, James A. Floyd, Samuel J. Floyd, Carl Leftwich, Frank Murray, Richard W. Nevius, Arthur T. Shack, and Howard B. Waxwood, Jr.

Honoring the legacy. Continuing the mission.

Every Tuesday, our Senior Kappas gather for breakfast—keeping fellowship, wisdom, and tradition alive.

Earlier in the month, we hosted a Senior Kappas Brunch to honor the brothers who paved the way. We’re grateful for their leadership, sacrifice, and example that built the foundation we stand on today.
