ncy service crews are now equipped with a powerful tool that can provide real time information that can only be acquired from the sky. Crews now have the needed information to evaluate working fire scenes, search and rescue, manhunts/tracking, police scenes/operations, emergency management scenarios, along with other potential risks and factor based scenarios. The NC Public Safety Drone Academy will prepare emergency service members and or first responders with the needed tools to become effective and well-educated UAV/Drone pilots. The academy will focus on the laws and regulations of UAV’s/Drones, while offering an extensive hands-on flight school that will expose pilots to:

- Simulation Flight Time (Grasp Drone mechanics and basic operation through simulation, to build and prepare you for real flight)

- Real World Flight Time (After learning the basics, you will spend the majority of class completing real flight time objectives and training)

- Live scenario based flight objectives focused on Fire, Rescue, Police, and Emergency Management situations/scenarios.

- Learn from our knowledgeable staff/pilots and guest instructors. The NC Public Safety Drone Academy is fee waived for all qualified emergency service personal and or first responders.
