During Black History Month, we celebrate the leaders whose impact continues to shape our campus today.
Lamar P. Higgins, the first African American SGA President at Troy University, helped pave the way for generations of student leaders through courage, service, and leadership.
This weekend at the John Robert Lewis Leadership Conference, seven students who continue that legacy on our campus were presented with the Lamar P. Higgins Leadership Award for their excellence in leadership and community service.
Congratulations to these seven students leaders! We are so proud of you!
