Meet Sarah Reisman, a junior Elementary Education student from Springville, Alabama at Troy University.

Sarah has a deep passion for student leadership, collaboration, and education. She is actively involved in several organizations across campus and loves working alongside others to find the best ways to serve students. Throughout her journey at Troy, she has embraced every opportunity the university has offered and she is so thankful for each one!

Being a part of the CEBS Student Advisory Council has allowed Sarah to channel that passion into creating a meaningful and impactful college experience for her fellow students.

Introducing Storytime with SHORT the Squirrel, a brand-new podcast from Alabama's official literacy mascot, SHORT the Squirrel!

Created by Monica Anderson Young and Dr. Dee Bennett, SHORT is on a mission to inspire kids to love reading. Each episode brings a children's book to life with a dramatic read-aloud, complete with sound effects. These stories are also voiced by talented students from TROY's Theatre department, guided by Tori Lee Averett.

✨ CEBS Student Advisory Spotlight ✨

Meet Kenlea Smith, a 20-year-old Rehabilitation and Disability Studies major with a minor in Speech-Language Pathology at Troy University.

Originally from Fort Payne, Alabama, Kenlea has found a second home at Troy and hopes to pour back into the university in the same ways it has poured into her. Through her education at Troy University, Kenlea aspires to become a bright light in the lives of the children she will encounter in the future. Being a part of the CEBS Student Advisory Council has allowed her to work closely with fellow council members while helping create a positive, impactful college experience for others.

We are so grateful to have Kenlea as a valued member of the CEBS Student Advisory Council!

Meet Ken'Tavis Delbridge, a Political Science major from Montgomery, Alabama, at Troy University.

During his time at Troy, Ken'Tavis has stayed actively involved through SGA, NPHC, and other leadership opportunities that have helped him build connections and grow personally and professionally. He was introduced to the CEBS Student Advisory Board through his campus involvement and has enjoyed the opportunity to represent students and have a voice in conversations that impact them.

We are proud to highlight Ken'Tavis as part of the CEBS Student Advisory Board!
